Special moments at Central Oregon’s Sparks Lake…watching the sunrise create a tangerine sky and spread its light on Broken Top, seeing the warmth of the sun form a layer of fog over the lake, and enjoying beautiful reflections in the calm of the early morning. The sunrise on New Year's Day was cold with temperatures hovering near zero. The early morning sun highlighted Mt. Bachelor above the ice that was floating in the Deschutes River.
The glow on the clouds from the setting sun combined with a fresh layer of snow in Bend created a wonderful sunset for Christmas 2014.
